Susan Blackwell is a writer, healer, training consultant, and workshop facilitator — working with individuals and organizations to create healing and balance and inspire transformation. As a writer and training consultant, Susan has spent many years writing and developing training programs for companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Fidelity Investments, General Motors, Media One, Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Her publishing credits include articles written for Coastal Connections, a weekly recreational journal for mid-coast Maine and a song parody for syndicated radio. In 1999 she won a Writer's Digest award for her article entitled, Divorce Your Job and Gain Custody of Your Sanity. Susan initiated her healing and personal development practice in 1994, and established Pathways to Healing in 2000. Her teaching and healing work integrate techniques and experiences drawn from her personal healing journey as well as more than twenty years of private study and professional training in various healing modalities including Reiki energy healing, Divine Intervention healing, meditation, dream work, Sahaja Yoga, herbal remedies, and Native American healing practices. Susan’s deep connection to healing work led her to Ecuador, where she studied and participated in shamanic healing ceremonies with the indigenous tribes of the Andes and the Amazon rain forest.
